day 28 – huge margaritas

16 May

Two of our friends had birthdays, so a get together was in order! We all ended up at Moxie’s, picking out fancy cocktails.

My strawberry mango virgin margarita! One thing they can do at Moxy’s is pretty margaritas. It also tasted great for the first little while, but in all honesty at the end, it was like eating sugar by the spoonful. I’m not really used to sickly sweetness any more.

You could supersize a margarita for $1.50 extra, so as a result we all ended up with these HUGE drinks.

I also picked at nachos. Usually, nachos are pretty dry at bars, but this plate was dripping with cheese. I had to dig deep for a couple of dry chips. :)

Sema and Sveta were taking turns, sipping on their cocktails.

Given last night’s pizza shenanigans and morning’s workout, I was beat. So I actually left everyone to continue conversing, and headed home myself.

Of course, they decided to continue the fun at home shortly after, so about an hour later I was woken up by this happy bunch:

If you are thinking that these photos are of much better quality than usual – you are right. Alex took these with Canon T1i. The contrast between these and my little point-and-shoot is stunning…
